Dr. Rahim Ladha is a well regarded, dedicated dentist in Calgary with over 23 years of clinical experience. Known for his calm demeanor and gentle approach, Dr. Ladha is committed to creating a comfortable, relaxing environment where patients feel at ease and confident in their care.

Dr. Ladha believes strongly in patient-centred care, taking the time to listen, educate, and involve patients in the decision-making process. By building genuine partnerships with his patients, he ensures treatment plans are personalized, transparent, and aligned with each individual’s goals and comfort level.

He is especially skilled in treating children, helping young patients feel safe, relaxed, and positive about their dental visits. His compassionate approach makes him a trusted choice for families seeking a dentist who truly understands patient comfort.

Dr. Ladha has extensive experience in dental implants, gum grafting, and Invisalign, and he is deeply committed to lifelong learning. Through ongoing continuing education, he continually enhances his skills to provide modern, high-quality care using the latest techniques and technologies.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ladha enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending quality time with his wife and two teenage children. Above all, he is passionate about helping his patients achieve healthy, confident smiles in a calm and supportive environment.

Dr. Sharif Faizi is a friendly, caring, and patient-focused general dentist who takes pride in helping people achieve healthier smiles. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Montreal in 2016 and has been providing compassionate dental care ever since.

Dr. Faizi is known for creating a calm and welcoming environment where patients feel heard and understood. He enjoys building long-term relationships with families and takes time to ensure every patient feels comfortable during their visit.

For Dr. Faizi, the most rewarding part of dentistry is seeing the confidence that comes with improved oral health. Whether restoring function or enhancing aesthetics, he finds fulfillment in making a positive difference in his patients’ lives.

When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Faizi enjoys golfing, hiking, trying new foods, and spending quality time with his wife and 2 children.

A graduate of the class of 1985 at the University of Alberta, Dr. Ikuta has been practicing all aspects of General Dentistry in Calgary for 40 years! He founded Millrise Dental Clinic in 1989 when the community was in its infancy (remember the grain elevator back in the day?!?!, yeah back then) and has grown with it over the last 35 years. His passion for dentistry has led him to do large amount of continuing education and he has a special interest in CEREC technology and is a DOCS certified sedation dentist. His kind and courteous demeanour allows him to build long lasting relationships with generations of families in the community. He is the heart and soul of Millrise Dental Clinic.

In semiretirement, Dr. Ikuta works 2 days a week and enjoys hiking and maintains a busy travel schedule. He has been married for 40 years and has 3 fantastic kids. Outside of the clinic, you are most likely to spot him on the golf course, the mountains or with his family.

Dr. Dorcas Sam-Ayodele is a dedicated general dentist committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a calm and welcoming environment. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and brings a diverse clinical background with international training. Her approach to dentistry is thoughtful and individualized, with a strong focus on patient comfort and long-term oral health.

Dr. Sam-Ayodele is known for her gentle approach and clear communication, helping patients feel informed and at ease throughout their dental visits—especially those who may feel anxious about dental care. She enjoys providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages and values building lasting relationships based on trust, communication, and consistency. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, cooking, community involvement, and continuing education. Dr. Sam-Ayodele is excited to be part of the Millrise Dental Clinic team and looks forward to getting to know patients and families in the community.
