We believe in offering our patients the very best in care, and that means using the most current technology we have at our disposal. At Millrise Dental Clinic, we offer you up-to-date technologies that vastly improve upon the traditional ways of dentistry—technologies like CEREC, Zoom, soft tissue laser, and Invisalign, all of which are very common nowadays. We find our patients prefer them.

We at Millrise Dental Clinic use following technologies to treat our patients:

Examination: With respect to the technologies we may use to examine you, they may include the following: an intraoral/extra oral scan, Diagnodent scan (which is our laser-operated cavity detector), intraoral pictures and standard manual periodontal probing. We also have intraoral cameras, which take pictures that our patients can view via our ceiling-mounted TV screens.

X-ray : At our clinic, we use digital x-ray technology. Digital x-rays have several advantages over traditional x-rays. First of all, digital x-ray images develop quicker. They also produce 80% less radiation than traditional x-rays.

General dentistry: We do offer soft tissue laser dentistry services, as well as more traditional services, such as bonding, hygiene sealants, implants, inlays/onlays, crowns (PMC, all porcelain and CEREC crowns), grinding appliances, bridges, dentures, extractions and fillings. (Please note that we specialize in composite fillings, but we can do amalgam, if necessary).

Cosmetic: Please note that we do not offer “traditional” orthodontics, such as metal braces. We do, however, offer Invisalign. Additionally, we offer smile makeovers using veneers and teeth whitening (accomplished via one of three methods: Zoom, take home trays, and/or Crest whitening professional strength treatments).

Technologies for specific conditions: We also offer solutions for the following conditions:

• TMJ/TMD treatment via night guards.
• Snoring and sleep apnea.
• Sensitive teeth.
• Periodontal disease

At our practice, technology is a very important aspect of patient care. We have taken great care in choosing those methods we feel are most conducive to achieving great results while minimizing discomfort.
