COVID-19 Update
As we move into the next phase of Alberta’s COVID 19 pandemic response where dental clinics are permitted to treat patients for urgent care
situation, we would like to remind you that the safety and security of our patients and our dental team is of the highest priority. We have
taken many steps to ensure that we are doing our part to limit the spread of COVID-19 while attending to your dental needs with the highest
quality of care. Please read the information below to familiarize yourself on how we will be improving your experience at Millrise Dental
Clinic.

If any of the questions are answered with a yes, we kindly ask you to call our office at (403) 254-0406 to reschedule your appointment
to a later date. If you are looking to book an appointment and answer yes to any of the questions, we ask that you follow AHS guidelines,
call 811 to follow the public health nurse recommendation and postpone your dental appointment, If you are having a dental emergency and are
not able to come to clinic due to COVID-19, please give our office a call and we will arrange for a virtual examination that one of our
dentists will conduct to take care of your issue remotely.
When arriving for your appointment, we ask that you call our office from your vehicle at the above listed number to inform us that you are
outside of the clinic. As we are trying adhere to the public gathering rule of not exceeding 15 people, we ask that you remain in your car.
One of our Adminstrative team members will let you know when you can come into the clinic. Upon entering, you will be greeted by one of our
clinical team members who will take your temperature, ask you to fill out the above mentioned questionnaire, have you disinfect your hands
at a designated hand sanitization area and briefly review our new protocol. You will then be immediately escorted into one of
operatories where your dental work will be performed. A small cup of a disinfectant rinse will be given to you to rinse your mouth for 30
seconds. Your Dentist and Dental Assistant will look a bit different from the last time you saw them as they will be wearing a mask, face
shield, isolation gown and gloves. Your Dentist and the Dental Assistant will remain in the room until your procedure is completed.
Throughout the procedure, a HEPA filter air purifier will be filtering the air in the room to catch any potential contaminants and to keep
the air in the room as clean as possible while you are getting your dental work. At the end of the procedure, you will be asked to disinfect
your hands and will be escorted to the frontdesk where you will be assisted by a business team member. In an effort to limit contact, we
will only be accepting credit card or interac at this time.
We know that this is going to be a big change for everyone but it is in the best interests of our patients, our team and our community as we
do our part to fight the spread of COVID-19. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office. We
sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter and we look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces in the very
near future.
Best Regards,
D
